Roadrunners

"Roadrunners" is a book written in SoftTouch's My Own Bookshelf® and provides insights into the life of the roadrunner in the North American deserts.

The book includes a wide variety of pictures and short videos to show the roadrunner in its native environment.

Students will learn that the roadrunner is a fast moving bird that spends most of its time on the ground. It is not only fast, but it is quick. It uses this quickness to kill rattlesnakes in the desert.
